Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.

• Prepare and serve a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately in house and through the drive thru.

• Operate the Toast POS system for processing transactions efficiently.

• Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the The Mill area, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.

• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.

• Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell additional products.

• Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple tasks during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or café environment is preferred but not required.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

• Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.

• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus; training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Experience using POS systems like Aloha is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.25 per hour
